Pastor Charles Schultz
Schultz is the youngest child of Allen and Helen Schultz. He grew up
in Franklin Park, Illinois, attended Bethlehem Lutheran School and publicly
confessed his faith on his Confirmation Day in 1980 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran
Church. He attended East Leyden High School where he met his wife Colleen.
Pastor Schultz is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a
degree in Secondary Education and received his Master of Divinity degree
from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.
1987 he and Colleen made their marriage vows before the Lord at Mt.
Calvary Lutheran Church. Colleen earned her Bachelors degree in early
childhood education from Concordia Wisconsin and her Masters degree
in family ministry from Concordia Nebraska and works as a pre-school
teacher at Abiding Savior Lutheran School. They have three children
and four grandchildren.
Schultz is an avid sports fan. He enjoys watching the games that he
once played and remains loyal to the Chicago sports teams that he has
loved since his youth. He also serves as a volunteer chaplain for the
Antonia Fire Protection District.
